yea... they hyped the crap out of Haze and lair... look where that got them.
I'd take Bad Company 2 over mag regardless of platform...
he didn't deliver with fable, but how did he not deliver with fable 2?
Fable was drastically over-promised with features, but his PR people kept him in check pretty well for 2...
I'm sure that the lawsuit will just result in him receiving his money back and probably a small settlement from M$.
I doubt the points system itself is in jeopardy. Not that I like it either. Just being realistic.
Is that microsoft would let exclusivity slip in a contract with Bioware.
Still think M$ should have bought bioware. They're one of the few developers that's pretty much guaranteed to make money.
Microsoft probably would have just advertised Ico and it would have been successful.
Was that really necessary?
Does anybody have like a story synopsis that actually gets into the conflict of the story? I am curious about the player's motivation (not spoilers). Ex. Mass Effect 2 has the collectors. Heavy Rain has....?
It can be more complex obviously, but I am curious as I have no idea other than it's a mystery that is apparently pretty depressing and has emotional morality choices.

that video was leaked a while ago. It looks way better than this one :-/
I'm more interested in it for NUI than I am for games. I'd like to see this kind of tech applied to home computing for media center PCs n such.
all the PC needs is a command prompt and a note pad.
I'd say these are reasonable expectations for the event. I'd imagine one or two surprises as well, but the things noted are pretty down to earth.
did you read it? They give plenty of reasons for their numbers. Even just their summary has plenty of good reasons.
You may not agree with their reasons, but the reasons are definitely there.
@all
It would be more accurate if they had more time, but game reviews are there to help people decide if they want a game or not before they play it. If they wait a week or two after release then their review doesn't fulfill its primary function.
PS3 fanboys always bring this up... I've only seen 1 or 2 in any of those articles. I rarely see less than 5 PS3 fans in a 360 article.
demmit ever time I click a HHG link I feel like I've been tricked.
The tech behind this shouldn't matter what game it's running.
The only things that really need to be tested are input and output lag. The only things being sent is the player input and the video/audio output.
The actual gameplay only depends on the host systems, which can have as much power as needed. If they can get it to work with UT3, they just need to beef up the host system and it will work with crysis.
protip: don't quote things in the title that don't appear in any of the interview quotes.
You'd honestly be the first person I came to for an opinion on a 360 game.
I bet you only get struck by lightning twice every time you pick up a 360 controller now...
it's not at all CPU intensive to draw a left and right image. It should be pretty similar on the GPU side.
Increasing from 60-120 fps in general (not 2X60fps) would still be a significant increase in workload.
edit: if you think about the process like a painter asked to make 2 identical paintings. The first one takes a while because you have to think about what all you want in there then paint it. The second one has just as much painting time, but less thinking time....
For each eye it's not as bad because you can do all your sorting and stuff beforehand, but when you switch forward a frame in time in the game almost everything needs to be recalculated regardless of frame rate.
There are other things that only have to happen 10 times a second or every second, but most of it still has to happen all the time.
You're right about the shift from left to right eye though.
Sid Meyer is keynoting GDC.

All three console makers will probably have large showings there.
